155 Indian companies have invested more than 22 22 billion in the US. Apart from this, Indian companies have provided employment to about 1.25 lakh people in different parts of the United States. This information is given in a report of CII.

The CII report, titled Indian Routes, American Soil 2020, provides state-wise investment and employment data from 155 companies surveyed. In addition to all the states in the United States, Indian companies operate in Washington DC and Puerto Rico.

The five largest employers of Indian companies are Texas (17,578 jobs), California (8,271), New Jersey (8,057), New York (6,175) and Florida (5,454).

In addition, the five states in which Indian companies have invested the most are Texas (.5 9.5 billion), New Jersey (4 2.4 billion), New York (1. 1.8 billion), Florida (91 915 million) and Massachusetts (87 873 million). Is included.

The states of New Jersey, Texas, California, New York, Illinois and Georgia have the most Indian companies, according to the report. The companies surveyed spent 17 175 million on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and 90 900 million on R&D.

Seventy-seven percent of companies surveyed said they plan to invest more in the United States. 83 per cent of companies expressed their intention to make more appointments locally in the next five years.

The companies surveyed in CII are Pharmaceutical and Biology, Telecommunications, Aeronautical and Defense, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Tourism and Hotel, Design & Engineering, Vehicles, Food & Agriculture, Energy, Mining and Minerals.

Taranjit Sandhu, India's Ambassador to the United States, said that the sixth edition of the CII report showed that Indian companies in the United States have made significant investments in various sectors, including research and development.
