Reliance has become the first US $ 150 billion market cap holdings

Reliance Industries has become the first company in the country to have a market cap of 150 150 billion. The company took this new step on Monday with a rally in the stock market.

Reliance Industries' market cap rose by Rs 28,248.97 crore to Rs 11,43,667 crore (150 150 billion) in early trade on Monday, after declining to Rs 11,07,620.56 crore.

Shares of the benchmark Sensex rose 2.53 per cent to a record high of Rs 1,804.10, while it rose 2.54 per cent to a high of Rs 1,804.20 on the National Stock Exchange and fell 0.39 per cent to close at Rs 1,752.50. At the BSE, it fell 0.70 per cent to close at Rs 1,747.20.

Earlier on Friday, Reliance became the first company in the country to cross the Rs 11 lakh crore market cap. On Monday, the figure stood at Rs 11,07,620.56 crore, with Mukesh Ambani's company, which has been doing business in the telecom sector ranging from refineries, rising 6 per cent since it was declared debt-free, and its market cap has crossed Rs 11 lakh crore.

Reliance Industries Ltd. for the financial year ended March 31, 2020 at a cost of Rs. The debt was Rs 1,61,035 crore. Mukesh Ambani said the company has raised Rs 1.69 lakh crore in the last two months by selling partial stakes to leading global investors, after which the company has become debt-free.

The company has raised less than a quarter of its stake to various global investors to raise Rs. 1.15 lakh crore and Rs. 53,124.20 crore through right issue. The company's stock has risen 15.39 per cent so far this year.
