MSME outlook negative despite government relief

Despite the government providing various forms of support to the country's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) due to the Kovid-12 epidemic, a large number of companies are reporting negative outlook as a result of the economic disruption. A survey has found that the fall.
The lockdown has affected demand and the lack of staff has affected the operations of companies. The MSME sector has had a greater impact on the revenue of smaller companies.
A survey of more than 15,000 MSMEs in the last fortnight of May 2020 looked at the financial impact of Corona on companies and their outlook for earnings.
Fifty per cent of MSMEs said that their income has been affected by 30 to 40 per cent due to Kovid-18. As many as 50 per cent of non-essential sector participants in the MSMEs had a negative outlook, compared to 9 per cent in the essential sector.
More than 3% of the MSMEs surveyed were from the non-essential segment and most of them were from the western and southern parts of the country.
Geographically, companies in the north and east are seeing a broad negative outlook. Six per cent of the companies surveyed said they had taken advantage of the government's moratorium.
