Crude oil prices recover sharply from bottoms: Gold-silver gains slow

Mumbai: Gold and silver prices rose at a slow pace in the bullion market today in the Mumbai jewelery market. The world market news was showing price volatility. As the dollar rose against the rupee in the domestic currency market, its positive effect on prices was seen in the jewelery market.
Meanwhile, the price of gold in the world market was 1789 to 1790 today as low as 1780 and as high as 1790 to 1789 to 1790 dollars per ounce. Global silver prices were 23.38 to 23.39 dollars per ounce today at a low of 23.29 and a high of 23.50 to 23.40 to 23.41 dollars.
In the Mumbai bullion market today, gold prices were Rs.53,814 at Rs.53,693 per 10 grams without GST and Rs.53,814 at Rs.53,908 at 99.90 while Mumbai silver prices were at Rs.67,161 at Rs.67,022 per kg without GST. In Mumbai gold and silver prices including GST were 3 percent higher than this price.
Meanwhile, global platinum prices were at a low of 1011 to 1012 today and a high of 1017 to 1016 to 1017 dollars an ounce today. Palladium prices were at a low of 1881 from 1924 to 1925 and a high of 1921 to 1920 to 1921 today.
Global markets were jittery after indications that a meeting to discuss important economic policy issues had been postponed due to the resurgence of Covid cases in China. However, despite this, the price of copper in the world market today increased by 0.90 to 0.95 percent.
Global crude oil prices also rose. Crude oil rose in the world market today after the oil pipeline between the US and Canada broke down and Russia threatened to cut production.
New York crude prices increased by 70.90 to 74.54 to 73.58 dollars per barrel. While the price of Brent crude increased from 75.60 to 79.60 to 78.68 dollars. Meanwhile, in the Ahmedabad jewelery market today, gold prices were Rs.55300 at 99.50 and Rs.55500 at 99.90, while Ahmedabad silver prices were at Rs.66500. World market players were keeping an eye on the interest rate figures to be released today in the US on Wednesday.
