Singoil pulled back Saurashtra: Various imported oils fell


MUMBAI: In the Mumbai oilseeds market today, single oil prices rose behind Saurashtra, while prices of various imported edible oils continued to fall behind the global market. Global edible oil prices also retreated as crude oil prices remained under pressure in the world market. Palm oil futures in Malaysia fell by 254 points today, while soybean oil prices in the United States were 50 to 55 points lower than the projection today.

Meanwhile, in Saurashtra, single oil prices rose by Rs.1525 and 15 kg to Rs.2430 to 2440, while Saurashtra cotton washed rose from Rs.1170 to 1175 to Rs.1160. Meanwhile, the price of 10 kg single oil rose to Rs.1540 in the Mumbai spot market today. The price of cotton oil was Rs.1220.

The price of imported palm oil fell from Rs.910 to Rs.915. After 150 tonnes traded at Rs.921 in the morning, scattered trades took place at Rs.915 in the afternoon. A total of 250 to 300 tons was traded. Crude Palm Oil CPO Kandla prices fell to Rs.820.

Soybean oil prices were reduced to Rs.1120 for digum and Rs.1220 for refined. Refined sunflower prices fell to Rs.1330. The price of mustard was Rs.1370 and refined was Rs.1400.

Meanwhile, Mumbai diwali spot prices and spot castor prices remained on a slow decline today. In the castor futures market, the price remained soft at Rs.30 to Rs.35 per kilo. In the Mumbai khol market, the prices of sunflower khol fell by Rs.500 and soyabean by Rs.800 per ton, while other khols remained calm.

Meanwhile, at Mundra-Hazira till December 25, palm oil prices were Rs.900 to 915 and super palm oil was Rs.960 while soy oil prices were Rs.1175 to 1190 and sunflower prices were reported to be Rs.1370 to 1385.

Soybean income today was 2 lakh 25 thousand times in Madhya Pradesh and 1 lakh 75 thousand times in Maharashtra and all India income was 5 lakh times. Prices in Madhya Pradesh were Rs.5250 to Rs.5500 per kw. The income of mustard was 85 thousand times in Rajasthan and 2 lakh 50 thousand times in all India. Prices in Rajasthan were Rs.6675 to Rs.6700.
