Gold prices fell sharply above 54 thousand, silver reached close to 68 thousand

Gold and silver prices are trading in the red today in the international and Indian futures markets. Gold prices were trading down 0.31 percent in early trade today on the Multi Commodity Exchange. At the same time, silver fell 0.41 percent today in the futures market. Gold prices rose by 0.45 percent and silver by 1.59 percent in the last trading session. Today till 9:20 am in the futures market, gold of 24 carat purity Rs. 54,125 per 10 grams, up from yesterday's closing price of Rs. 170, the price of gold opened at Rs.54,109 today. Once the price went up to Rs 54,149. But, it soon fell to Rs. came to 54,125. Gold prices closed at Rs 54,295 with an increase of Rs 244 on Friday.

Silver prices fell in MCX
Silver was seen lower today in the multi commodity exchange. Silver price from yesterday's closing price Rs. 277 down to Rs. was trading at 67,761. Silver price today is Rs. 67,490 had opened. Once it opened, it was priced at Rs 67,805. But, after some time it was reduced to Rs 67,761. In the last trading session, silver futures were priced at Rs. 1,069 with a jump of Rs. 68,103 was closed.

Slowdown in the international market as well
Gold and silver are trading in the red today in the international market. Spot gold today fell 0.56 percent to $1,787.25 an ounce compared to yesterday's close. The price of silver in the international market has seen a decline today. Silver prices fell 0.85 percent to $23.28 an ounce. The price of gold has increased by 1.56 percent in the last one month. Similarly, silver prices have also increased by 7.06 percent in 30 days.

The bullion market saw a boom last week
Gold and silver prices rose in the Indian bullion market last week. At the start of the last business week on December 5, the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 53,854, rising to Rs 53,937 per 10 grams by Friday, according to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association website. On Friday, the price of 999 purity silver rose to Rs 66,131 from Rs 65,764 per kg.
