Washington, January 16, 2020 Thursday
The first act towards the end of the trade war between the United States and China has been terminated, the two countries have signed the phase before the trade deal, and in December, the two countries decided to move towards the trade deal.
According to the first phase of the trade deal, the United States announced the withdrawal of new tariffs on goods imported from China, in return for which China would buy more agri products from the United States.
The prospect of signing the deal saw a boom in the stock market around the world, though the Indian stock market closed with a downturn.
After the second phase, all tariffs will be withdrawn
In a program organized at the White House, President Donald Trump said that the second phase of talks with China would be initiated quickly, with the implementation of the first phase being negotiated and proceeding to the second phase.
Although the tariffs on Chinese imports of hundreds of billions of dollars there would seem to be the same as before, Trump said that with the second phase, it would be easier to withdraw additional tariffs. He said the deal was historic.
China will import $ 200 billion
China will import more than $ 200 billion worth of American goods over the next two years, including $ 50 billion worth of Angry Products, $ 75 billion in manufacturing products and $ 50 billion of imported energy from the energy sector.
