50% of customers turn away from online shopping due to payment security

AHMEDABAD: Even though e-commerce companies are giving tough competition to retailers, this year people are preferring offline shopping. 78 percent of consumers are avoiding online shopping because they cannot see the product physically. While 50 percent of people stay away from online shopping due to payment security concerns, an Instamojo survey said.
More than 70 percent of consumers are buying from GH2BH brands due to factors like customer trust, fair price and quality, uniform offering, best consumer experience. 55 percent of respondents shop online at least once a month.
While 78 percent of people still hesitate to buy online, the factor responsible is the lack of facility to see the products in person.
A wide range of products are available in online shopping. But many customers have said that sometimes it becomes difficult to choose from them. People tend to think of physical products as faster pickings. E-commerce companies have taken this into account and are trying to provide choice as per the needs of the customers.
Sixty-six percent of people do not shop online because of a bad experience with products, while over 50 percent of people have changed their decision to purchase items and purchase from carts because they are not familiar with or secure the payment platform.
