DGCA lifts ban on SpiceJet

Airlines company SpiceJet will now operate the aircraft at full capacity from October 30. According to information, the restrictions imposed on 'security incidents' have now been lifted. In the past, the aviation regulator sought clarification from the airline after several incidents related to SpiceJet aircraft came to light. The DGCA issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet after eight incidents of technical glitches in 18 days.

After receiving the notice from the government, Spice Jet chief Ajay Singh said that such incidents are definitely worrying. Just a month ago, the regulator conducted a safety review of each of their airline's aircraft. DGCA is tasked with regulating us. It is up to us to see that we are 100% safe. I welcome their concern.
A few days ago a plane of Spice Jet had to return to Kolkata due to some engine failure. The pilot of the plane going to Chongqing city in China found out only after take off that the engine of the plane was not working.
On the other hand, the Spice Jet flight from Delhi to Dubai was diverted to Karachi due to an engine problem. On the other hand, the plane going from Kandla to Mumbai was landed in Mumbai due to a crack in the windshield.
