China's Rs 26,000 crore firecracker industry against Shivakashi's Rs 6,000 crore
Sivakashi's 6000 crore crackers industry is now gaining international fame after becoming green crackers. There seems to be a move to challenge the industry which was dominated by Chinese products. China's firecracker industry has a turnover of Rs.26,000 crore and China is the largest exporter of firecrackers in the world. Sivakashi's industry has been trying to grab a share of China's firecracker exports. The government has set up a special laboratory at Shivakashi at a cost of Rs 15 crore for testing green crackers (low smoke). Which will follow the rules of green crackers. Earlier, samples of crackers were sent to Nagpur for testing. Due to which a lot of time was wasted. The Nery Laboratory at Shivakashi has developed a substance that, when mixed with firecrackers, reduces dust pollution by at least 30 percent.
As many as 172 staff at 56 airports in India were caught drunk
The category of liquor drinkers is huge and is constantly increasing. There is a liquor ban in Gujarat, but those who drink and party are often caught. Average people say that no matter what alcoholics do in their homes, they should not drink in public. When the drunkard becomes uncontrollable, he loses consciousness and faints. In public places, there are people who drink alcohol and make noise, or drink drugs and drink alcohol. Drunkards are seen causing such public mischief at ST stands, railway stations, but now many drunkards have started to show their colors at airports and in air travel as well. There are more people working at airports who show such color. According to a report, 172 people working at 56 airports in India were caught in a drunken state. Where alcohol testing is mandatory some people are unwilling to take the test. If the tourists are caught in a drunken state, they are dropped off, but the official staff of the airport, catering company, ground holding company, aircraft maintenance company, if they are caught drunk, they are beaten up. These are people who have tested positive for alcohol, i.e. drunk.
