Mahindra to launch mini electric car: Know the range and what will be the price...

India's electric market is growing rapidly day by day. While the Tata group is moving at a super fast speed in this segment, now Mahindra is preparing to launch an electric vehicle in the small segment. Mahindra is soon going to launch a mini electric car Mahindra Atom.

Anand Mahindra's company introduced this car almost two years ago at the 2020 Auto Expo. It was expected to launch in the market in 2020, but due to the Corona epidemic, the plan had to be postponed. This will be India's first electric quadricycle after its launch. According to the report, this electric car has recently received the approval certificate. Where in the old certificate it was kept in the non-transport category, now it is kept in the transport category.

Mahindra can launch a total of four variants of Atom in K1, K2, K3 and K4. Its K1 and K2 variants will have a 7.4 kWh, 144 Ah battery pack. While the Atom K3 and K4 are expected to get an 11.1 kWh, 216 Ah battery pack. Where as the full charge range for K1 and K2 will be around 80 km. On the other hand, the range for K3 and K4 is expected to be 100 km.

4 seater car

Talking about the features, the K1 and K3 do not come with air conditioning. However, the non-AC variant will be able to cover more miles on a full charge. Talking about the design, it will get a unique grille, large headlamps with a large windscreen. Its front window will also be very large. Overall the car looks quite compact. This is a 4 seater car. It can also be used for commercial use.

What will be the price?

Mahindra Atom has received around Rs. 3 lakhs can be launched at a starting price. It is unlikely to have any direct competitors at the time of launch. May compete with Bajaj Cute Electric in future.
